In the first moto, Monster En-
ergy Kawasaki's Josh Grant got
the holeshot, and his teammate
Eli Tomac moved into second
early in the race, only to lose
the front in a right-hander and
go down, forcing him to come
through the pack from last place.
Grant led the first three laps in
front of CycleTrader/Rock River
fired up. That can be danger-
ous, or it can work right into your
plans. At High Point, the effect
seemed to be the latter.
Baggett and Tomac were both
helped somewhat by points
leader Musquin reportedly suf-
fering a torn meniscus in his left
knee that hampered his efforts
throughout the day at High Point.
