Arana Jr. reached the final by
beating Melissa Surber, Krawiec
and Karen Stoffer. He also made
the quickest run of the day with a
6.816 that was impressive, given
the humid conditions.
Also in Englishtown, the
Vance & Hines Screamin' Eagle
Harley-Davidson team made
news early in the week when
riders Andrew Hines and Ed-
die Krawiec debuted their new
Street Rod bikes, a replacement
for the V-Rods that carried the
team to eight world champion-
ships and more than 85 national

proach when they hired former

the number-two qualifier with a
6.801 and Hector Sr. was close
behind in third with a 6.823.
