torcycle Championship was no fluke, White
Alligator Suzuki's Jerry Savoie picked up his
first win of the 2017 season at the NHRA Sum-
mernationals in Englishtown, New Jersey. Savoie
rode his Suzuki to a 6.918-second elapsed time
in the final round to score a holeshot win against
Lucas Oil Buell's Hector Arana Jr., who lost de-
spite a much quicker 6.862.
"Last year, I was probably going to win the race
but the wind got me and I had to shut off against
Angelle [Sampey]," Savoie said. "My bike was
