2018 Star Venture
I like the aggressive looking
front end, but will that air-
cooled V-twin fry your legs like
H-D and Indian?

I enjoyed reading your article
on the fuel-injected two-stroke
KTM. I'm glad to hear that the
TPI system seems to actually
work well, but I'm still a fan of
the good ol' fashion carbure-
tor. They are simple to use and
not really that hard to jet and,
once you do get them dialed in,
you usually don't have to fiddle
with them too much anymore,
unless you go up in elevation.
Even then, it's not that big of a
deal.
Still, I do believe fuel-
injection is the way to go in the
future, for sure, and hope that
it encourages the manufac-
tures to continue building—and
maybe even start building—two-
strokes.

Tomahawk GNCC
Just wanted to congratulate
Thad Duvall for winning the
Tomahawk GNCC this week-
end and winning for the second
time in row in GNCC. Thad has
been right there for so long,
but now he's finally risen to the
next level and is giving Kailub
Russell something to think
about for the first time in a long
time. It's making the series
interesting again.
Keep it up, Thad, we're
cheering for you.

Harley will be lucky to make the
main, but I'm pulling for them!
They need to pull a rabbit out
of their hat here. And I'm super
proud of Indian for making a
comeback!
William Johnson
The racing is great, but come
on. The health of this racing will
need more than the two brands
they are promoting.
