The 2018 Troy Lee Designs SE4 Polyacrylite Helmet
includes the patented MIPS safety technology
used in more expensive helmets, but it retails at
a more affordable price. MIPS (Multi-directional
Impact Protection System) is a technology that reduces
rotational forces to the brain for more
protection against angled
impacts. The SE4 Polyacrylite
Helmet is fully ventilated, with 16
intake ports and six exhausts, and has
new graphic styles for 2018. It has emergency-
release cheek pads for EMS responders, and
comes in sizes XS-2XL.

The new X-3 SRS off-road boots are have the
same sole-replacement technology as the
Crossfire 2 SR boots, but cost less and weigh
less. The soles can be replaced at home with a
flathead screwdriver, and they are made with
the same laminated Technomicro, cam-lock
buckles, Cambrelle inner liners, heels and
insoles as the Crossfire 2 SRs.
