Satuday's winner Smith. At the
finish, Blackmon had his second
win of the season by just 0.296
of a second over Ventura with
Smith just 0.316 of a second
from victory.
"That was probably one of the
most fun battles that I've ever
had and I think it's a really good
experience for us as well on
the KTM [RC 390] by helping
prepare us for the bigger bikes
and our race craft is getting bet-
ter and better," Blackmon said.
"We [Ventura and Smith] were
able to pull away and I led a
good amount of laps during to-
day's race. I couldn't hear them
coming up the hill and wasn't
sure if they were planning to
set me up and roll me out, so I
just kind of went for it in Canada
Corner and everything seemed
to work out. I'm just so pumped
to get this win after everything
that we had happen yesterday."
Smith still leads the KTM RC
Cup Championship over Beau-
champ, fourth on Sunday, 107-
94. Blackmon jumps to third
in the title chase, 30 points
behind Smith after three rounds
