here's something different about champions.
The drive and determination it takes to win a
championship at the top level of any sport is
something people are born with. That's not all it takes
to be a champion, but it's the foundation.
Blake Baggett is a champion. He won the 2012
250MX National Championship early in his career,
but struggled with injuries for the next couple of years
before he decided to just move up to the 450MX class
in 2015, racing for factory Suzuki. He had shining mo-
ments, but his results overall were lackluster, but since
signing with the Rocky Mountain ATV-MC KTM team,
Baggett seems like he's figured some things out. In
supercross, he looked like he was truly racing his
450 for the first time in his career (rather than merely
surviving on board the beast), and he gave his team its
first 450SX podium in the process.
