Really wish I could have done better that first moto so I could have gotten the overall, but pumped for my dude Marvin." Musquin's 1-3 score garnered him his first-ever 450MX Na- tional overall victory, and that, combined with Tomac's troubles, gives Musquin a 15-point lead as the series heads to Colorado The Kawasaki crew replaces Grant's motor between motos with reported transmission issues. As a precaution, Tomac's engine was also swapped out. Kawasaki teammates Eli Tomac (3) and Josh Grant (33) had promising first motos, but things went downhill fast for them both in the second moto.
