engine, and Tomac's, too, just to
be on the safe side.
In the end, moto one marked
Musquin's career-first 450MX
National moto victory.
"That's my first one ever,"
Musquin said. "After winning my
first Supercross this year, it's
time to shine during outdoors.
We've been putting some good
work with the Red Bull KTM
team. Glen Helen is definitely a
tough track. To get a first moto-
win like that is awesome, so
thanks to the team and every-
body involved. We've still got a
second moto to go and if I can

Seely eventually fell out of
the lead pack and Grant fought

Things appeared to have picked

of Honda's Cole Seely and
Christian Craig, and eventually
Monster Energy Kawasaki's
Josh Grant. And just like in moto
two at Hangtown, Eli Tomac was
stuck in the middle of the pack,
but already moving up quickly.
Marvin Musquin
won moto one,
the first 450MX
National moto win
of his career. He
followed that up
with another first—
first overall win.
