maha's Nick Burson may not
have executed a flawless ride
at the Sawmill Run in Pioche,
Nevada, May 21, but it was
good enough for him to win the
race hosted by the Silver State
Trail Blazers and become the
first repeat winner in this year's
Kenda/SRT AMA West Hare
Scrambles (WHS) Regional
Championship Series.
The 30 points the reigning
series champ collected also
pushed him back to the top of
the points chart, shoving previ-
ous leader Max Gerston back to
second, 132-125. Beta's Ger-
ston finished third, giving him a
super-consistent 2-3-2-3 finish
record over the last four rounds,
