Up front, the Yamahas were in forma-
tion, Vinales second and Rossi behind,
with Marquez close but not quite chal-
lenging.
The first change came when Vinales
reversed the chicane move on Zarco
on lap seven, but the front four stayed
close—Marquez dropping away a little,
then closing again.
The next trio was led by Cal Crutchlow
(LCR Honda), inches ahead of Andrea
Dovizioso's Ducati, with Pedrosa behind.
The Ducati rider was hard to pass, but
Pedrosa managed it on lap 10, and then
Crutchlow as well next time around—an
