This emphasis on youth classes allows for
significantly more track time for the riders and
exposes them to racing inside an arena with
a supercross-like experience. There is even a
live webcast of the main events produced by
the Lucas Oil TV production team, the same
group that produces the Pro Motocross TV
coverage, so the riders are treated to post-
race podium interviews just like the AMA
Supercross stars they typically watch on a
Saturday night.
The feedback from the inaugural event was
very positive, which contributed to significantly
more riders signing up for year two. Most of
the top youth riders were in attendance aiming
Ty Masterpool
won the Jesse
Cup and
Supermini 13-16
classes.
