VOL. 54 ISSUE 18 MAY 9, 2017 P59 K TM didn't waste any time introducing its first batch of 2018 motocrossers. The first to be revealed from the Austrian manufacturer include the 2018 250 and 450 SX-Fs, 125 and 150 SX two-strokes, and 85 SX. The four-strokes feature just a few updates, such as re- vised settings for the WP AER 48 air forks and new orange coloring for the frame. Graphics, of course, are new, too. The 125 and 150 also get new aluminum head stays and new CDI control for "improved starting behavior." The 2018 KTM 85 SX, however, has been significantly updated. It gets an all-new engine that is nearly two pounds lighter than the previous engine. KTM claims that power has been improved across the entire rpm range, as has rideability. The new 85 SX also gets a new and lighter frame, including subframe. These models are expected to be available in June.
