MOTOGP FIM MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 4 / MAY 5-7, 2017 CIRCUITO DE JEREZ / CADIZ, SPAIN P86 MOTO3 Aron Canet took a career first victory in a race of many collisions, making up for his blunder after dominating in Austin, putting his EG Honda over the line just inches ahead of the rider who forced him into that costly error two weeks ago. That was Romano Fenati (Rivacold Honda), with points leader Joan Mir (Leopard Honda) seal- ing another all-Honda podium, the fourth in four races. It was all by the smallest margins. Fourth- placed Marcos Ramirez (Platinum Bay KTM) was less than two tenths adrift, after taking the lion's share of the leading; and the first 10 were over the line within less than two seconds. Places were changing throughout in typi- cal Moto3 style; but pole qualifier Jorge Martin (Gresini Honda) was never involved in the front battle, dropping back throughout to an eventual ninth. Andrea Migno (SKY VR46 KTM) was moving in the opposite direction through the pack, but was finally sixth, behind a late attack from Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini Honda). Nicolo Bulega (SKY VR46 KTM) and Enea Bastianini (EG Honda) were locked in battle for most of the race, closing up again at the end for seventh and eighth; Juanfran Guevara (RBA KTM) was tenth. There had been 12 in the leading brawl, but Gabriel Rodrigo (RBA KTM) lost touch and fell back to 13th. The biggest loser was Darryn Binder (Platinum Bay KTM), who led several times and was still right up there when he slipped off on the final hairpin. A year ago, his brother Brad came from the back of the grid to win the race. Unless it was John McPhee (Honda), who qual- ified 26th after a crash in practice, then crashed out of the race. Mahindra's Albert Arenas was 14th, the first points for the Indian firm. Mir, winner of the first two races, retained he points lead, on 74 with Fenati closing on 65,
