Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha's French import and SX rookie Dylan Fer-
randis scored his best finish of his career so far in New Jersey, snatching
a solid second place for his second podium finish of the season. "I really
think today's second was my best," Ferrandis said. "I got the speed to
finish second all day. My heat race, my lap time in the afternoon was really
good. In the main, I just tried to find my rhythm because the track was so
rough. It was not possible to push the limit; it was just control all the race.
So many ruts. It was one of the roughest tracks I ever rode. So good to be
on the podium. Last time I made third, so it's a good accomplishment for
my career and the people behind me."
