I was able to tow in behind him. As the moto went on, the track got really demanding, very physical. The ruts got deeper, so mistakes were more prone, but I was able to kind of keep right kind of ridiculous-looking "error" in the right-hand sweeper, hand- ing the lead to his teammate Dungey, who took his third win of the year. "This is what we needed, just a little bit of a break in the sys- tem," Dungey said. "We got off to a good start. We fought hard. Eli [Tomac] was riding good and and then with two to go, Mus- quin spent a long time looking over at the mechanics' area on his way by. A lap later, still leading with Dungey now right behind him, Musquin's mechan- ic, Frankie Latham, wrote on his pitboard, "1 lap" on the top and "Ryan" below, and then Musquin made a completely unforced and Jason Anderson (21) was one of four different leaders.
