WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP VOL. 54 ISSUE 17 MAY 2, 2017 P71 points apiece, one point behind new points leader Jordon Smith (TLD/Red Bull KTM), which sets the stage for essentially a winner-take- all showdown next week in Las Vegas. 450SX Ryan Dungey is a three-time 450SX Supercross champ for a reason. He has learned to handle the pres- sure. And it definitely is something he learned. Anyone who watched Dungey come apart against Jason Lawrence in 2008 should already know this. It's now Dungey's championship to lose in Las Vegas. As for the 250SX East, initially it appeared that Monster Energy/ Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Joey Savatgy salvaged a solid seven-point lead heading to the Vegas finale, but a penalty officially issued by the AMA the following day for cutting the track dropped him five spots in the official race results and he and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna's Zach Osborne are now tied at 159 450SX New Jersey Highlights
