Rossi took over the points
lead after three of 18 rounds
from teammate Vinales, 56
points to 50; Marquez made
a significant lunge up to third
on 38. Dovizioso has 30, and
Crutchlow 29.
Scott Redding (Pramac Duca-
ti) had dropped back in 12th; Tito
Rabat (VDS Honda) closing at
the end after outpacing Hector
Barbera (Avintia Ducati). Alvaro
Bautista (Pull&Bear Ducati) took
the last point after falling and
remounting, and re-passing
Bradley Smith's KTM with four
laps to go.
Aleix Espargaro capped off
a dire weekend finishing 17th
and two laps down, after pitting
clear by the flag.
The Spaniard managed to
save ninth from Miller by half a
second; the Australian in turn
fending off Jonas Folger's Mon-
ster Yamaha by a similar amount,
retaining his three-race top-10
record.
Maverick Vinales saw his two-
race win streak come to an
end with a simple front-end
washout early in the race.
