"I love the fact that you can now buy a sporty

Antonio Cairoli looked like the
second coming of Ricky Carmi-
chael in that second moto. And
he's 31 years old!

You have to give it up to
Thomas Covington. The lone
American is finding his feet on
the GP circuit and is giving the
Euros a hard time every week
now. He won in Mexico and will
have a few more wins before
the end of the year.

Triumph Street Triple
I think 1100cc would be just
right, around 150 horsepower
at the crank is more than
enough, in my humble opin-
ion. The Aprilia Tuono 1100 RR
makes 175 horsepower, more
than the original Hayabusa, so
would you would not be able to
use anywhere near its full po-
tential other than on the track.
Ryan Gordon
The main thing the Speed
Triple needs is weight loss (40
pounds). The second thing
is state-of-the-art electronic
nannies (cornering, ABS, multi-
level traction control, etc.). The
third thing is power (20 horse-
power more).
In this order, Triumph!
I was going to get the 2017
Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 RR, but
this bike can change my mind.
(Already has, I guess).

Ducati 950 Supersport
I'm 43. I basically grew up in
the "sport bike" generation. I
remember drooling over the
Kawasaki GPz in "Top Gun."
I've owned a Ninja 250, ZX6E,
ZX6R, VFR 800, VTR 1000,
Z1000 and a Kawasaki 750
Zephyr over the years. I love
the fact that you can now buy a
sporty looking bike with good
performance that is actually
comfortable.
Street bikes don't need to be
race bikes. For the 95%-plus
of us that would only see an oc-
casional track day and do the
majority of riding on the road,
this bike makes a ton of sense.
I also like the Kawasaki Ninja
1000, Ninja 650, Yamaha FZ-
07, FZ6R, Honda CBR650,
etc.
Jonathan Hatfield
Yeah, finally Ducati made
a comfortable bike for the
rider and passenger, a bike
on which we can have some
fun on twisty roads. Power is
enough for the street, it's a mo-
torcycle with only two wheels
and some metal, and will still
overtake cars easily.
I.M.
I like it! Now go build me an ST
on this platform!
