SUPERCROSS ROUND 14 / APRIL 8, 2017 CENTURYLINK FIELD / SEATTLE, WASHINGTON P64 MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS SERIES I guess the mustache is really, really good luck, so I'm going to have to leave it." Hill didn't want to risk trying to run Plessinger's pace in the ruts. Plessinger, who has a lot of off- road racing experience, might be the best motocross racer in the country when it comes to rutted tracks. "I just fell into the groove and tried to ride safe because the track was just unreal," Hill said. "I did what I could do to ride sol- id and not throw it away. I would love to have won, but didn't feel like I needed to do anything that would cost me points." And Oldenberg was ecstatic to score his first-ever supercross podium, especially since he hasn't been on a racetrack since San Di- ego early in the season, where he broke his collarbone in practice. "It's amazing," Oldenberg said. "It's unfortunate it hap- pened right away in the year. I had an amazing off-season with my team and my trainer, Tyla [Rattray]. We put in a lot of work and it was a heartbreak. To work that hard and have it taken away that quick was a killer. But I put my head down and this is where Mitchell Oldenburg returned to action after an early season injury and got on the podium for the first time in his career. I want to be. I actually want to win. So I'm happy to get it done. I don't know what it was. Monday morning I woke up and all week I was like, 'It's happening this weekend. It's happening.' I was so excited it was race day. I'm just grateful and blessed to be here." In the championship, Hill gave up three points to Pless- inger, but still leads the cham- pionship by a commanding 18 points with only two races left to run. The series reconvenes on April 22nd in Salt Lake City, Utah, after taking Easter weekend off. CN 450SX 1. Marvin Musquin (KTM) 2. Eli Tomac (Kaw) 3. Jason Anderson (Hus) 4. Ryan Dungey (KTM) 5.
