RINS FRACTURES
ANKLE
A
lex Rins is in doubt for the Argentine
MotoGP this weekend after fracturing
his ankle in a motocross training accident.
Rins suffered a partial fracture of the ta-
lus, a bone that sits between the bottom on
the leg and the start of the foot, and basi-
cally acts as a weight transferring mecha-
nism between the two. He was examined by
renowned MotoGP doctor, Dr. Xavier Mir,
who got Rins on a non-surgical program of
magnet therapy and physiotherapy, in an
effort to be fit for the Argentine race. CN
