seemed to be coming to frui-
tion as Jared Mees pushed his
Indian Motorcycle Co./Rogers
Racing-backed Indian Scout
FTR750 to victory, remaining
undefeated for 2017.
This win didn't come easy and
had its fair share of controversy.
Mees had set fast time in qualify-
ing, won the fastest heat and
semi to sit on the pole for the
25-lap main event.
Mees got the perfect start
from the bottom of the track and
led the first lap, only to make
an uncharacteristic mistake.
Sammy Halbert had his Esten-
son Logistics Harley-Davidson
XR750 parked on Mees' rear
wheel and took full advantage of
the former champion's lapse.
