IN THE WIND P48 Ryan Sipes, who ran as high as second after the second lap, pulled out of the race a lap later while running third. Sipes is still struggling with the wrist he injured at the series opener in Florida. In the XC2 250 Pro Lites divi- sion, Appalachian Offroad Mo- torcycles' Sam Evans grabbed the $100 Hot Cams XC2 Hole- shot Award, but it was N-Fab/ AmPro Yamaha's Josh Toth who worked his way through the pack to earn his third straight win of the season. He com- pleted the first lap in fifth and held the lead by the end of the fourth lap, taking it away from RPM KTM's Mike Witkowski. Toth went on to take the win with room to spare over Witkowski, who finished just ahead of Jesse Groemm. Toth was also sixth overall. Coastal Racing's Jack Ed- mondson won the FMF XC3 125 Pro-Am class again, but perhaps more impressive than winning the division was his 10th overall placing. Jason Thomas (Husqvarna) was second in class, followed by N-Fab/AmPro Yamaha's Paul Whibley. Tayla Jones continued her winning ways in the Women's Pro class. The Rocky Mountain ATV-MC/KR4 Husqvarna rider has won all three rounds so far. Defending champ Becca Sheets was second followed by Mack- enzie Tricker. CN OVERALL 1. Kailub Russell (KTM) 2.
