He qualified for the main through a semi, which didn't give him a good gate pick or a good start in the main. "I made it out safe to- night," said Wilson. "I feel like I should have done better but I got a little tired. I just tried to manage a pace I could do throughout the main event, but then I regrouped and started catching back up towards the end. I need to get a better start and be more aggressive up front. I have a lot more in me." 36 ADAM CIANCIARULO 5TH 250 Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Adam Cianciarulo came into Indianapolis riding high after his win last week in Daytona, but then he got into a slam-battle with 250SX East points leader Zach Osborne that ended up costing him when Osborne retaliated and slammed Cianciarulo off the track. He was carted off by the Alpinestars Mobile Medical Unit with a leg injury, but returned to race the night show, where he rode a solid race to take fifth place on the night. "The day was de- cent considering how it started with the mishap in practice," Cianciarulo said. "Overall the result...I don't like getting fifth place, but considering the circumstances and not feeling 100 percent, I feel like we salvaged a lot of points." 20 BROC TICKLE 8TH 450SX RCH/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing's Broc Tickle had a solid night in Indianapolis, despite getting a poor jump out of the gate. "Indy was a step in the right direction," Tickle said. "After our struggles in Daytona, I was really looking forward to getting to the race track and picking myself up. I really enjoy racing in the domes in the Midwest. The dirt is great and the tracks get rutted so it's always a little more technical and those are the kind of races where I ride well. I qualified eighth in both practices and transferred into the main from the semi. I wasn't completely happy with my start but I made a few quick passes, settled in and finished eighth. I thought I was going to be able to pass [Chad] Reed at the end but I couldn't get around him." 19 JUSTIN BOGLE 15TH 450SX RCH/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing's Justin Bogle had good speed in Indianapolis, but he was fighting flu-like symptoms all weekend. He faded in the late going of the 450SX main event and eventually finish 15th. "It was a tough weekend," Bogle said. "I was sick all week and couldn't shake it. I felt great in the semi but about halfway through the main, I just didn't have anything left in the tank. After the way Daytona went, I was happy to make the main event. It wasn't the finish we were looking for but I'll take it and look ahead to Detroit." 48 CHRISTIAN CRAIG 6TH 250SX EAST Geico Honda's Christian Craig hasn't been having the kind of season most were expecting from him. In Indianapolis, however, things started looking up, as he started in eighth place and rode a steady race to net sixth, moving himself up to up to seventh in the points standings. "Did I want sixth place? No, but I was happy with where my head was during the day," Craig said. "I was thor- oughly enjoying myself and my bike. I was happy to get through the day and start building myself back up to where I should be. Like I always say, you can see where I am in practice and even in the heat races. I belong up front and I need to bring that to the main." 14 COLE SEELY 5TH 450SX Honda HRC's Cole Seely worked his way up to the tail end of the top five, and was able to make a pass on Davi Millsaps to secure fifth ."I'm really frustrated," Seely said. "I got another fifth tonight, and although that isn't a bad result, I feel like I'm just stuck in these top-five finishes. I keep trying to push forward and am not able to make it happen. I want to be back on the podium and know I have the speed to do it, but I just need to put it all together. It's definitely tough when you don't put your- self in a good position off the start, which is what happened in the main. I didn't make the passes I needed to early enough and by the time I got in fifth, the top four were already gone."
