After qualifying quickest earlier
in the day, Monster Energy Pro
Circuit Kawasaki's Joey Savatgy
was hoping for big things to
come his way in the evening pro-
gram and to gain ground for the
second week in a row on points
leader Osborne. However, the
heat race didn't go his way after
finishing third to Osborne and
Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha's
Mitchell Harrison, but a holeshot
in the main was a shot in the arm
for his confidence that Savatgy
desperately needed; problem
was, Osborne was right behind
him as they started the first lap
of what would be a 20-lap race.
Savatgy put his head down and
tried to sprint away from Os-
borne, but no such doing.
