races to secure the overall win
on the night and end the cham-
pionship as runner-up to Haaker.
"I just wanted to end the se-
ries as well as I could," Gomez
said. "I'm really pleased for
myself and the team. As I've said
tonight, but at the same time I
knew the title was on the line.
I'm stoked to have two SuperEn-
duro titles in a row."
As the rider with the clos-
est shot of stealing the world
crown away from Haaker, KTM's
Alfredo Gomez, once again,
came out swinging following his
career-first overall win in Spain
just two weeks ago.
