Tomac said of his race. "It was
a pace I was like, 'Man, I don't
want to push myself too hard.'
I knew it was long. I tried to do
what I could to stay with him, but
not go too hard too early. Once
I got in a groove, I was able to
get by him there and went all the
way home. It was awesome."
With his fifth-place finish and
the disastrous result for Dungey's
teammate Musquin, Seely moved
into third in the points standings.
Musquin is now fourth, just in
front of Anderson in fifth.
Dungey got bogged off the start
and spent the racing catching up.
It wasn't a good night for the
series leader.
lap salvaged two more points in
the championship for Dungey.
"Obviously the start wasn't
what we were looking for but we
did our best to climb through
the pack," Dungey said. "The
track was actually really difficult
to make a pass on, which ended
up costing us time in the begin-
ning. Making passes was a lot
easier in the second half of the
race because we had some
more space to work with. Next
week is a new week and we're
looking forward to protecting the
points lead and changing up the
strategy moving forward."

Jeremy was riding really good,"

On the final lap, Dungey
caught Seely, and showing what
being a champion is all about,
Dungey absolutely willed his
way past Seely. In the final three
turns, the two racers hit at least
three times, with Dungey coming
out of it with perhaps the hard-
est-fought fourth-place-finish of
his career. The pass on the final
