IN THE WIND P38 O ur favorite Aussie bike filmmaker (and pure riding badass) Adam Reimann has released his latest YouTube flick, this time thrashing a brand new Husqvarna TE 300 two- stoke around the bush in Western Australia. But the video isn't just eight minutes of Reimann living the dream and kicking up two- stroke roost everywhere. The 42-year-old new father is transitioning to life on his own farm, enjoying all the challenges the venture brings like making fences, mustering cattle, and carv- ing out one truly epic enduro course. It's worth a watch. CN APRILIA LAUNCHES REVAMPED MOTOGP EFFORT IN SPAIN A prilia Racing launched its renewed MotoGP team in Barcelona last week with two new riders in Aleix Espargaro and class debutant Sam Lowes, and an all-new paintjob. The RS-GP machine started to come on strong towards the end of last season with former riders Alvaro Bautista and Stefan Bradl notching 16 top-10 fin- ishes between them, however, this year the Gresini-run effort knows it must begin to deliver consistent finishes inside the top 10 to continue the evolution of the second-youngest MotoGP machine on the grid behind the brand new KTM RC16. Espargaro has been quick on the machine in all three pre- season tests, but has lamented a lack of horsepower compared to the Ducati, Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki rivals, a claim made especially by Bautista last season. "For us, 2017 begins with a different situation compared with last year," said Aprilia Racing team manager Roman Albe- siano. "We already know that we have a bike, the RS-GP, which has reached a good competi- tive level. The initial feedback has been encouraging. Aleix likes the new bike and has some rather clear ideas on which characteristics have the most room for improvement, so we will be working in those areas throughout the season. Our goal, after showing that we can consistently battle for the top 10, is to improve further." "It will definitely be a good season," Espargaro said. "We still have a lot to improve, but we have undoubtedly gotten off on the right foot. We have specific goals and in order to achieve them, both the team and I will put all of our energy onto the track. All that's left now is to take on the first race in Qatar and see where we stand against our rivals." CN Mama mia! The new RS-GP's paintjob leaves you in no doubt as to Aprilia's origins!
