COOPER WEBB STILL HEALING C ooper Webb did not suit up for the March 4 Monster Energy AMA Supercross in Toronto. The Monster Energy/Yamalube/ Chaparral/Yamaha Financial Services/Yama- ha Factory Racing Team rider is still bothered by the shoulder he injured at the Minneapolis Supercross, February 18. "I was really hoping that I could race in Toronto, but my shoulder is still really sore, and I need to give it a little more time before I can return," Webb said. "I'm doing everything I can to recover—listening to my trainer and rehabbing—and I I hope to return to the track soon." CN IN THE WIND P34 When Cooper Webb will be able to race again is still up in the air, but he hopes he can suit up for the March 11 Daytona Supercross. MARTIN TO FILL IN FOR ROCZEN J eremy Martin will get the chance to race the injured Ken Roczen's factory-backed Honda at the March 11 Daytona Supercross, which is sponsored by Honda. Martin rides for the Geico Honda Team in the 250SX West class, which is currently on break, in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Se- ries. This will be Martin's first race on a 450. This is just a one-race deal, as he will return to the 250SX West Series when it resumes on April 8 in Seattle. "We're excited to have Jeremy riding for us at the Daytona Supercross," said Team Honda HRC manager Dan Betley. "Despite only a short amount of time on the bike, he already feels very comfort- able so I'm confident in his ability to deliver a solid result. I'd like to thank Geico Honda for making Jeremy available to us for this race." Martin said, "I'm beyond excited that American Honda is giving me the opportunity to ride a fac- tory CRF450R. I'm also looking forward to making my debut in the premier class at Daytona, one of the most hyped up Supercross races of all time. Everyone loves Daytona due to it being so differ- ent so I'm excited to go race the best guys in the world. I'd love to get a solid finish for Honda since they sponsor the event." CN Jeremy Martin will fill in for Ken Roczen on the Honda HRC factory team at the Daytona Supercross, where he'll compete in the 450SX class for the first time. PHOTOGRAPHY BY KIT PALMER
