The new Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart III tires
are made to wear longer. The testing was
done on a 2016 BMW R 1200 RT and yielded
more than 12,000 miles on the Dunlop
Roadsmart III, 3000 miles more than the
Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT. They have Dunlop's
exclusive MT Multi-Tread design that
binds to a high-mileage compound in the
center, and high-adhesion compound to
the lateral flanks for high cornering grip. The
sidewall is also new to improve shock absorption for
reduced rider fatigue.
