Osborne had everything he
needed to win the main event,
except for luck.
"I made a silly mistake over
there in that corner," Osborne
said. "I got into neutral somehow
and just tipped over. Managed
to keep the bike running and
get back up. I was really close
to Jordon [Smith] there at the
finish. But it's been a great off-
season. I think it shows tonight.
To have a crash and still be on
I was having a hard time getting
some of the sections dialed in. I
struggled in the heat race. I just
got off to a good start there and
just tried to ride out front and
ride for his new team.
"I felt really good practicing,
down at MTF (Millsaps Training
Facility)," Smith said. "We strug-
gled a lot there in practice today.
