CASEY FOLKS
REMEMBERED
I
t took an arena-sized venue
to hold all those eager to pay
respects to Best In The Desert
Founder Casey Folks. Fortunately,
there is no shortage of Las Vegas
arenas willing to open their doors to
a hometown hero and local legend.
Casey Folks, who passed away on
January 12, 2017, was remembered
in a service at the Orleans Arena,
where the who's who of off-road
racing came out to honor the Off-
Road Motorsports Hall of Famer.

Casey Folks'
memorial was
quite an affair.

entire Folks family, were among those who
attended the ceremony, which was also live-
streamed on the Best In The Desert website.
The service is still available to view in its en-
tirety. (The ceremony begins at the 25:30 mark
in the video.)
The ceremony was full of funny stories and
fond memories of Folks' life, as well as plenty
of photos and video clips. He will be sorely
missed and his memory will always be honored
by thousands of friends, family, racers and
fans. CN
