The best of both worlds converge in Northern California, July 27-29. The Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix returns to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and with it, the eighth round of the AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike, Daytona SportBike and SuperSport Series. There's all kinds of racing all weekend long, with the MotoGP running at 2:00 p.m. Sun- day and everything concluding with the AMA Pro Superbike at 3:45 p.m.

MOTOCROSS Red Bull Amateur National MX Championships Loretta Lynn Ranch Hurricane Mills, Tennessee July 29-August 4 2012
The granddaddy of all amateur motocross events takes place at the Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. Almost all of today's top riders on the Pro MX circuit got their start by setting their sites on this one race, and for some riders this will be their last amateur event before moving on to the bigs. Often simply called, "Loretta's," there is more to the event than racing, there are plenty of other activities on the Ranch to keep you busy.

DRAG RACING NHRA Pro Stock Infineon Raceway Sonoma, California July 27-29, 2012
If road racing isn't your thing but ultimate speed and pure horsepower are, then head inland from Monterey for the NHRA Sonoma Nationals, Pro Stock Motorcycle Drag Racing Championship. It's round eight on the schedule and Ed Krawiec leads Andrew Hines by a few points with just two rounds after this one.
