Valentino Rossi showed off the
graphics of his new AGV
Pista GP R "Winter Test"
helmet at the first MotoGP tests
in Sepang. Despite the sweltering
weather in Malaysia, Rossi typically has
a winter-themed graphic on his Winter Test
helmet, and this year's design simulates a snow-globe
scene depicting the Doctor's hometown of Tavullia
covered in a blanket of snow. The design also has AGV's
tricolor logo and the distinctive yellow number 46.

Available in spring 2017, the Shoei RF-SR helmet
was optimized for aerodynamics through
extensive wind-tunnel testing and professional-
rider feedback. The ventilated helmet is made
from a combination of high-performance and
organic materials, and it comes in four shell
sizes to increase fit options. The entire interior
lining is removable for cleaning, and the RF-SR
uses the CWR-1 shield, which can be installed/
removed without tools. It meets or exceeds Snell 2015
and DOT-218 standards and will come in solid, matte
and metallic colors.
