ROBERT ROMPS TO WORCS PRIMM WIN

TM's Taylor Robert contin-
ued his dominance in the
Pro Motorcycle class in the 2017
WORCS Series, presented by
Maxxis and Dirt Bike, by win-
ning his second consecutive
race, this one coming at the
Primm round in Nevada, Janu-
ary 28-29. Robert beat out Gary
Sutherlin, Travis Damon, Justin
Seeds and Trevor Stewart who
made up the top five.
Logan Chambers won the
Pro 2 race, while Austin Serpa
finished first in Pro 2 Lights.

on the fast and rough course,

consistent lap times. Behind
him, though, the battle was on
for second.

ond early and was slowly catch-
ing Robert, but he missed his pit
on the fourth lap and eventually
ran out of fuel. Then defending
WORCS Champion Robby Bell
and Sutherlin began an intense
battle for second, but Bell
dropped out on the last lap with
engine trouble. Eric Yorba also
had problems when he stalled
his ride in the rock section and
couldn't get it restarted.
In the end, Robert, once
again, dominated, putting on a
show similar to his performance
in the season opener.
"I was pushing pretty hard in
the beginning and just rode my
own race at the end," said Rob-
ert. "My KTM was working really
well. It was really choppy, which
is hard on the hands and the
body, in general. I was happy
