the Supercross season.
"The second half of the race
wasn't as good as I would've
liked," Dungey said afterward.
"But with Ken's incident, and
I knew the track could reach
out and bite you because I had
multiple close calls, so it was
"Man, I don't wish that on no-
body," Dungey said. "Especially
a guy like that with this sport. We
need him. We need a guy like
that. It's unfortunate at times, but
let's hope he's okay."
And that was it. That was the
end of Roczen's run at the cham-
pionship. All's not lost for Honda,
with Seely's consistent improve-
ment so far this season, but the
points leader is done for at least
ground so hard that he not only
snapped off his visor, but his
goggles flew off as well. Despite
the hit to the head, he imme-
diately grabbed his left wrist,
which seems to indicate he
didn't lose consciousness, but
reports are that his left lower arm
suffered a compound fracture—
likely from it being the first thing
to hit the ground in the middle of
a jump face.
Cole Seely finished a strong
third. He held off Roczen for five
laps before Roczen went down.
