IN THE WIND P34 AIRGROUP ENDURO ENGINEERING HUSQVARNA RACE TEAM ANNOUNCED A irgroup Racing and Enduro Engineering have joined forces to form Airgroup Enduro Engi- neering Husqvarna Racing, a two-rider off-road team consisting of Andrew DeLong and Expert-AA rider Thorn Devlin. "The last two years have been a struggle because of [injuries] and I think I'm finally healthy and ready to fight for a championship again," said DeLong. "I'm excited to be a part of Airgroup Enduro Engineer- ing Husqvarna Racing and I feel this team will give me the flexibility I need to deal with racing on my own terms and to do what I feel is best for my racing career, includ- ing what events and what bike I want to ride." DeLong, who is currently alternating between a TX 300 and an FX 350, will concentrate on the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series in 2017, as well as riding select rounds of the GNCC series and a handful of special high profile off-road events. Devlin will ride a TX 300 in the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series as well as select special high profile events. The 19-year-old from Tam- aqua, Pennsylvania had a career-best third overall finish at last year's Rattlesnake National Enduro in Pennsylvania and is looking forward to his first full season on the National Enduro circuit. The team will be managed by long-time enduro enthusiast and pro bass fisherman Bob Mc- Cumby, with Mike "Napper" Napieralski serving as head mechanic. ROCZEN SHIFTS GEARS L ong-time Fox gear wearer Ken Roczen made the shift to Shift MX gear for the start of the 2017 Supercross/moto- cross season. Roczen and Shift made the announcement in a large gathering of the media in Costa Mesa, California the Wednesday before the opening round of the 2017 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series. Perhaps the move to Shift was to keep him from wearing the same gear as his chief nemisis on the track, Ryan Dungey, a Fox-sponsored rider, while still staying in the Fox family, since Shift is a sister company of Fox. With the announcement comes a new line gear from Shift called 3BLUE Label, and it will be offered in very limited num- bers. Only 300 kits of each color will be produced globally and only select Shift retailers will get them. The very high-end 3BLUE Label gear won't be cheap at $84.99 for the jersey and $229 for the pants.
