KLIM LAUNCHES 2017 CONTINGENCY PROGRAM
K
lim is now offering a con-
tingency program for riders
racing in Klim gear in 2017. And
here is how they're going to do
it:
Register for Klim's 2017 Rac-
ing Contingency Program and
earn contingency rewards by
competing in any AMA-sanc-
tioned racing series. All riders
purchasing a set of current Klim
XC gear, current Mojave gear or
Dakar gear (pant, jersey, glove)
are automatically eligible to earn
contingency rewards throughout
the 2017 racing season.
Racing to contingency re-
wards is easy: Simply purchase
a set of current Klim XC race
gear, current Mojave gear or Da-
kar gear at your local Klim dealer
or at www.Klim.com, finish in the
top-five at a race, submit your
results to Klim Racing online
and you'll be cashing in "Klim
Race Bucks" in no time.
Klim Racing Contingency
pays per point system to all
eligible/registered riders.
Those points translate directly,
point-for-dollar, into Klim Race
Bucks paid at the conclusion
of the series. Riders can com-
pete to earn contingency in
as many series, and as many
classes as they desire. See
program rules for complete
details.

"NO RESPECT" –
DOVI HITS OUT AT IANNONE
A
ndrea Dovizioso will not
miss having Andrea Iannone
as a teammate in the factory
Ducati garage in 2017, as the
latter makes way for three-time
FIM MotoGP World Champion,
Jorge Lorenzo.
Speaking to the Gazzetta
dello Sport, Dovizioso said that
while having Iannone was chal-
lenging, his presence won't be
missed in the red pit,
at least from his side.
"No [I won't miss
him]," he said. "On the
one hand, he served as a stimu-
lus for me, since he is a very
fast rider and I liked having him
as a teammate. But the attitude
of Andrea and his entourage…
for me, respect for people is
important, and his entourage,
and especially him, do not have
it," he said.
Iannone will take the place of
Maverick Vinales in the factory
Suzuki team after Vinales moved
to the Movistar Yamaha team in
place of Lorenzo. CN
