ROUIT
REMEMBERED
F
lat track enthusiast Dan Rouit,
who passed away November
16, was remembered with a memo-
rial at the Dan Rouit Flat Track
Motorcycle Museum in Clovis,
California, December 4.
Rouit was a flat track racer in his
day, but his love for the sport didn't
end when he quit racing, as he
started collecting anything related
to flat track racing, including race
programs, posters, steel shoes,
leathers and, of course, motor-
cycles. His collection grew and
grew, eventually requiring a 5000
square-foot building to house it all.
He and his wife, Kathy, have
been officially running the museum
for nearly 30 years.
Rouit will be missed.CN
Dan Rouit, of the Dan Rouit
Flat Track Motorcycle
Museum in Clovis, California,
was remembered at the
museum.
