CN III VOICES L E T T E R S T O T H E E D I T O R "He is always humble and genuine when he says, 'thank you.'" Throwback Thursdays: Feilice Wins 250cc GP I was there, and watching Jim- my romp to the win was actually the highlight of the weekend for me, just because he was an underdog that weekend and it was totally unexpected. At least that's what I thought anyway, but it sounds like Jimmy felt pretty confident. The few times I have run into Filice at races since then, I have made a point to walk up to him and say, "I was at Laguna," and shake his hand. Nothing else needed to be said. You can see the emotion well up from within him. He is always humble and genuine when he says, "thank you." Legendary. Howard Halterman I was there that day and Filice flat crushed it. That was his day and it was damn cool! Jim Sheldon Mahindra Buys BSA Good to see two brands I have been involved with over the years getting it together. Wish- ing both brands well. Paul Evans I'd love to see BSA come back. Great brand. I was run over by a Gold Star once, and believe me, it left a mark—on my body and my memory! Gary Fackler I would love to see a new Gold Star! Frank Henry Ford 2017 Honda CRF450R Just wanted to point out that the 2017 Honda CRF450R is not the first production bike with a titanium gas tank. The 2015 Ducati Diavel Titanium has a titanium gas tank. Mitch Berger Andrea Dovizioso's Sepang Win Such a deserving winner. Con- grats to Dovi. Good on Valentino Rossi for nursing his bike and not pushing it, and good on Jorge Lorenzo for being cool and keeping it on two wheels. It's been a great race season and I'm anxious for the finale next week. Andrus Chesley Boise EnduroCross The Idaho forest wood section was insane at the Boise Endu- roCross—two and a half feet wide and equally as tall pieces of wood, along with smaller chunks that caught every rider last night. Great event. Looking forward to next year's race! Mitch Berger Archives: Scott Rus- sell's Leap To Victory This race right here got my en- gines turning and led me to go road racing for eight years and, boy, do I miss it.
