BRAYTON, HAHN 1-2 IN AUSTRALIA Y ou might've noticed that Justin Brayton and Wil Hahn weren't at the Mon- ster Energy Cup this past weekend, but they weren't just sitting around doing nothing; instead, they were finishing 1-2 at round two of the 2016 Australian Super- cross Championship at the Toowooma Showgrounds, October 14. Brayton, who is receiving backing from American Honda and the Australian The Honda Genuine Team, won the 20-lap feature over Hahn, with Austra- lian Dean Ferris taking third. American Kyle Peters nabbed fourth. After two rounds, Brayton is leading the championship over Fer- ris, 50-42. Hahn is third with 38. In the SX2 class, Jackson Richardson and Hayden Mellross went 1-2. Geran Stapleton took third. Ameri- can Adam Enticknap is eighth with 25 points, and Peters is 10th with 18. Americans Gavin Faith and Jimmy Decotis com- peted but both suffered crashes. Decotis had a nasty get-off in the whoops in a heat race and called it a night. He later revealed on Instagram that he's sore but is otherwise okay. Mellross is leading the SX2 Championship but by only one point over Richardson. CN Check out this highlight video from the event.
