uzuki finally unveiled its
long-awaited sixth-gener-
ation GSX-R1000, which
Suzuki says incorporates more
than 600 new parts and com-
ponents. It's been designed to
go faster, turn quicker and slow
down better than ever before.
There will be two versions,
the GSX-R1000 ("standard") and
GSX-R1000R, which gets the
works, but the standard gets
almost as much as the R. The
main things the standard doesn't
get that the R gets is a new
Launch Control System and
Suzuki's B-directional Quick
Shift system. The R also gets
