it didn't take Kailub Russell long
to find his way to the front. He
came into the scoring chute with
a one-minute lead over Ashburn,
who was closely followed by
Strang, who was dealing with an
another rider collided. Sipes was
momentarily knocked uncon-
scious and suffered a broken
arm. His injury has huge con-
sequences, for not only was he
unable to compete in the race,
but he won't be able to compete
in the ISDE in Spain next week.
This is a huge misfortune for
Sipes and Team USA.
Once underway, the only
hiccup in Kailub Russell's race
was not getting the $250 All
Balls Racing XC1 Pro Holeshot
the overall podium with the big-
bike riders, Russell and Strang.
