C
haz Davies (Aruba.it Ducati Racing) came into the Magny-
Cours weekend on a relative high after a dominant Lausitzring
race in the dry, and then a respectable finish of sixth in the wet.
In France, racers had both of those conditions, with a wet and dry-
ing first race and a fully dry race two.
Race day one, with Jonathan Rea (KRT) on pole for only the sev-
enth time in his entire career, witnessed one of the most messed up
but thrilling races of the year, as the majority of riders chose to take to
the wet track (with no rain evident any more) on full wets.
It's not over yet
– Chaz Davies
signaled there's still
life in the Ducati
challenge with a
dominant double
win in France.
Happy days!
Davies' double
was the sixth of
his WorldSBK
career.
