"I just tucked the front, had
no feeling with the front," he
said. "I do not even know what
happened but that was it. I knew
it would be difficult today in the
dry, but I wasn't expecting this
outcome at all. Losing the front
on the opening lap is never
good and that's the last thing
we needed. We need to figure
out what the problem is with our
performance in the dry because
I haven't been anywhere near
where I'd like to be in these con-
ditions. I can't wait to be back at
Jerez, which, along with Misano,
is my favorite race track on the
calendar."

WORLD SUPERSPORT
This is the race when Kenan
Sofuoglu (Kawasaki Puccetti
Racing) could have—and prob-
ably should have—won the
championship for the fifth time.
Leading the field, however, after
a Superpole winning start, he fell
at midrace distance, losing the
front, which he said gave him no
warning.
America's PJ Jacobsen (Hon-
da World Supersport) looked
good for a strong result, but he
fell on lap one, losing the front
in turn four and was not able to
recover enough; I had a little bit
of a problem with some en-
gine braking, but my problems
started when I got behind on Fri-
day morning. I missed out on the
last half of that race yesterday
in the dry weather—not knowing
the track, and was not able to
catch up. In the race, if there are
some positives, I was doing my
best laps of the weekend, but it
was clearly not enough. I am not
pumped on it and it is never nice
to end the weekend with this
feeling."
