The longest track gave no chance to escape in a hectic Moto3 race, with the lead pack at one point 15 strong, and the remaining 11 across the line in 1.6 seconds. Keeping a cool head counted for everything, as Brad Binder took his fourth win to further extend his massive points lead. The Red Bull KTM rider was helped also by fresh misfortune for his "closest" rival Jorge Na- varro. The EG-Honda rider had moved steadily through from 18th on the grid to join the battle with the leaders, only to be knocked flying by a headstrong wild card with two laps to go. Zero points. That wild card was Stefano Manzi (Mahindra), himself through from 34th on the grid, in perhaps the ride of the race. He finished an amazing fourth. Binder and first-time pole qualifier Pecco Bagnaia (As- par Mahindra) did most of the leading, with Navarro taking a couple of goes, and also Gresini Honda's Enea Bastianini.
