IN THE WIND P50 WEAK AS… GLASS! I n the You-Don't-See-This-Everyday segment, a Finnish engineer/random guy has made a cylin- der head for his Suzuki two-stroke dirt bike out of glass. Why? We have absolutely no idea, but he was good enough to film it and stick it on YouTube. It's interesting to see the plug in action and the growing flame front as the revs begin to climb and then reach redline levels, with the fuel pooling around the top between the head and the cylinder. Thank God there are wonderfully strange people like this in the world. CN JESSY NELSON POSTER J essy Nelson continues to recover from the spinal injury he suffered at the AMA National Motocross at Unadilla three weeks ago. Since then, he has undergone surgery and has been moved to a rehabilita- tion facility in hopes of making a full recovery. The cost of this rehabilitation will, of course, be massive and you can help Nel- son and his family by donating to Road2Recovery, as well as by purchasing a Troy Lee Designs Glen Helen MXGP poster, which depicts Nelson leading the way like he did at last year's Glen Helen MXGP race. There will be a few limited edition versions of these posters, built by Nelson's TLD sponsor, available for purchase over the September 10-11 weekend at the Glen Helen MXGP. The pro- ceeds will go to Jessy's recovery costs. The poster was created by French designer Guillaume Tanghe. To learn more about the poster, check out this video.
