A couple of ounces of prevention are worth a pound of cure…
case in point, the HardParts Collection's Countershaft Washer.
Found on Beta, Husqvarna and KTM 4-strokes, the OEM
component can fail, causing serious grief. A flattened washer
can't maintain the pressure necessary to keep the sprocket
tight on the splined shaft. Eventually torque wins and the
countershaft has to be replaced… to the tune of $700 in labor
costs alone. Now that's a big deal!
• Constructed of heat treated tool steel
• Prevents O-Ring wear or seepage behind the
countershaft sprocket
• Reduces countershaft play
• Extends the life of the countershaft and sprocket splines
• Made in the USA
