Fairgrounds lived up to its reputation for dramat-
ic finishes. Kenny Coolbeth was able to pull off
the upset win on his Zanotti Racing Harley-Davidson
Motor Company-backed Harley-Davidson XR750
over heavily favored Bryan Smith and his Crosley
Brand/Howerton Racing-backed Kawasaki.
