CN III VOICES L E T T E R S T O T H E E D I T O R "Did he need to call fellow competitors wimps in the post race interview?" Ken Roczen Hats off to Ken Roczen. He rode each race like Ryan Dungey was only one second behind him the whole season. That's the Ricky Carmichael way to win, and he's a well- deserved champion. Gregory Eddinger The only guy that gave Roczen any competition through- out the season was Eli Tomac. They were head and shoulders above the rest, although Marvin Musquin did very well in his rookie season. Wait 'til Cooper Webb joins the fray next year and also Ryan Dungey. It would be great if all the top guys stayed healthy, then we might see a lot of dynamite racing. Terry Heath Congrats to KR94. He rode a smart, conservative season and emerged from the carnage of broken bodies to become the champ. Well done. He followed the cardinal rule: Win a championship by going as slow as is necessary. Extra speed just assumes extra risk. Jim Bunch Cooper Webb No one thought Cooper Webb was going to race at the start of the nationals with [his] wrist injury. That is being forgotten, I think, and it only makes the championship more impres- sive. Bryan Biggs Cooper was due for a cham- pionship in the 250cc class [outdoors]. He and Jeremy Martin are pretty close in speed and consistency. It was his turn this year. Scott Corwin Cal Cruthlow Well done, Cal! Nice to see a Brit on the podium, now with Marquez, Rossi, Lorenzo, and all the other great riders. The plot thickens. Happy racing. Samuel T. Cole I have to say I wish there would be some dry races. This wet weather stuff is really getting old. Jim Clausen Great win. It was a good tire choice and great ride, so con- grats to him for that. On the flip side, did he need to call fellow competitors wimps in the post- race interview? Lacked class after a classy ride, pity.
